The Ministry of Health provides the following clinical update as of the morning of Saturday 8th August, 2020:

The eighteen (18) positive cases reported below show results from samples taken during the period 31st July, 2020 to present. Therefore this figure is NOT representative of the positive cases over the last 24 hours only.
Only one positive case below comes from a sample taken within the last 24 hours (Friday 7th August, 2020).
The Ministry of Health provides the following update:
· Eighteen (18) additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19.
– One (1) case is imported. The patient is a national who recently returned from Nigeria/ Egypt/London/ Barbados.
– Six (6) are contacts of recently positive COVID-19 patients.
– Eleven (11) cases are pending epidemiological investigation. All established protocols have been implemented.
COVID-19 Positive Patients in Hospital – (82). Eighteen (18) new patients are en route to hospital.
