One more person has died from COVID-19 in Tobago over the past 24 hours, moving the total number of deaths on the island to 246, according to the latest update from Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection, in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA).  The vaccination status of this latest victim is unclear.

The Division also is reporting that 40 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Tobago, according to the Division’s update for Thursday 10th March 2022.  These new infections bring the number of current active infections on the island to 332.

Currently, 13 people are hospitalised with COVID-19, 11 of whom have not been vaccinated at all against the disease, while two (2) people have been fully vaccinated.

The Division’s update also notes that at present, the total number of people in Tobago who have recovered from COVID-19 since March 2020, now stands at 6,905.
