The Ministry of Health provides the following clinical update as of the morning of Saturday 15th August, 2020:

Number of unique patient tests completed | 11,725 |
Number of repeated tests | 1,650 |
Number of samples which have tested positive at public and private facilities in Trinidad and Tobago | 474 |
Total number of active cases | 325 |
Number of deaths | 10 |
Number of persons discharged | 139 |
The forty-eight (48) positive cases reported below show results from samples taken during the period August 5th to August 13th, 2020. Therefore, this figure is NOT representative of the positive cases over the last 24 hours only.
The Ministry of Health provides the following update:
· Forty-eight (48) additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19.
o Twenty-nine (29) cases are pending epidemiological investigation.
o Eighteen (18) are contacts of recently positive COVID-19 patients.
o One (1) person tested positive at a private lab
All established protocols have been implemented.

Fifty-seven (57) patients are en route/ being admitted to hospital.
Forty-eight (48) new patients will be processed for admission.
