According to official police reports, at 2:30 pm on November 2nd, a man was sitting in his White Nissan Wingroad motor vehicle, which was parked along Freddy Street, Aranguez, when two men allegedly pointed a firearm at him and announced a hold up.

The man told police he became fearful for his life and handed over a bag which contained an undisclosed amount of cash and other personal valuables.

The suspects then escaped in an awaiting motor vehicle.

Police officers who were on foot patrol in the area were alerted to the incident and an all-points bulletin was issued for the suspects.

Detectives of the San Juan Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and officers of the North-Eastern Division Emergency Response Patrol immediately responded and later intercepted a black Nissan Almera with five male suspects along Johnny King Road, Aranguez.

The men were later arrested and taken to the San Juan Police Station, pending further enquiries.
