Nine thousand AstraZeneca vaccines donated by the government of Bermuda is expected to arrive in T&T today at 3:50 pm. The announcement was made by Minister Amery Browne via a press release from the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs.

The following is the full release from the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs:

Senator the Honorable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, announces the scheduled arrival of 9,000 World Health Organization (WHO) approved AstraZeneca COVID19 vaccines from Bermuda today at 3:50 p.m.

The vaccines were generously offered to the Government of Trinidad and Tobago by the Government of Bermuda from their existing allocation of vaccines. The Government of Trinidad and Tobago extends its appreciation to the Government and people of Bermuda for their generosity and support.
