The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Ltd. (TTIT) has cancelled at ferry sailings for Saturday 25 July 2020.
This, as the latest advisory from the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) warns that Tropical Storm conditions are expected to affect Tobago from Saturday.
In a release issued today, the TTIT states that persons who were scheduled to sail from Tobago on Saturday 25th July, can be accommodated on the Jean De La Valette, at 6:00pm, today, Friday 24th July 2020.
The ferry company also advises that affected passengers are not required to revalidate their ferry tickets and will be accommodated on future sailings.
In addition, TTIT says the Jean De La Valette sailing from Port of Spain, today, Friday, will be at 2:30 pm. The ferry will turnaround from Tobago at 6:00 pm today.
The TTIT informs the travelling public that it will continue to monitor the situation with the impending tropical storm, and will advise citizens in due course, on the possibility of ferry sailings on Sunday 26th July 2020.
