Amalgamated Security has shipped 35,000 bottles of water to St Vincent and the Grenadines to help with the nation’s water crisis after the La Soufriere volcanic eruptions that began on April 9.

The company said it is seeking to play its part in assisting the country by providing basic items that were identified as urgently needed to the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The security company also packed a second shipping container destined for St Vincent filled with other supplies.

Among that shipment were 600-gallon water tanks, bleach, mops, yard brooms, shovels, PVC boots, buckets, raincoats, safety vests, tarpaulins, face masks, safety helmets, LED flashlights and headlights, and water hoses.

In 2019 Amalgamated Security commenced operations in St Vincent and the Grenadines, adding to the growing list of Caribbean countries now served by the company, including Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia, Guyana and Antigua.
