The APT James ferry.

The APT James is scheduled to go on dry-dock next week Wednesday, October 27th, which the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company (TTIT) says is in compliance with the shipbuilder’s warranty.

The TTIT explains that the dry-docking works will consist of both internal and out-of-water works, which will be carried out at Berth #3 at the Port of Spain harbour, as well as at Caribbean Dockyard (CARIDOC).  TTIT says following this, the vessel is expected to resume service by Wednesday 1st December 2021.

The Company assures that the dry-docking will not impact inter-island transport between Trinidad and Tobago while the APT James is out of service, as the T&T Spirit, Buccoo Reef and Galleons Passage will continue to service the seabridge.
