Ashanti Riley was stabbed and beaten by her attackers. These were the findings of an autopsy done at the Forensic Science Centre this morning. It revealed that the teenager suffered sharp force injuries to the chest and lower abdomen as well as blunt force trauma to the back of the left chest.
Riley’s family received the results at the Forensic Science Centre at around noon but did not speak with reporters as they were ushered through a back exit by police.
It was said that details concerning Riley’s death were withheld from them as investigators felt they had been through enough over the past week and a half.Riley went missing on November 29. She has last seen alive entering a PH taxi to go to her grandmother’s birthday gathering.
Her body was found last Friday in a watercourse off La Canoa, Santa Cruz.Two men have been held in connection with her death, while a third is being sought.The family of Krystal Primus-Espinoza also received autopsy results. It confirmed that she drowned and had suffered other injuries consistent with a fall.Relatives at the Forensic Science Centre declined to speak to the media.
