Farmer Nappy displays his cheque and trophy after he was announced the winner of the Online Road March during a prizegiving function at the TSTT Hospitality Suite, Queen's Park Oval yesterday.

Just days after winning the 2021 International Soca Monarch title, Farmer Nappy (Daryl Henry) scored another victory in the historic bmobile/ TUCO Online Road March title and the $100,000 grand prize, with Backyard Jam.

The results of the competition were announced during the prizegiving ceremony for online Carnival competitions at the TSTT Hospitality Suite, Queen’s Park Oval, yesterday evening. Farmer Nappy collected two of the four major prizes, with Chutney Soca Monarch GI (Imran Beharry) and Chutney Soca Queen Nisha Ramsook.

The Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO) partnered with bmobile to stage the Online Road March competition. Artistes to registered up to two songs for the competition which were then be voted on via unique text codes through bmobile’s text messaging platform.

Voting for the competition took place from February 1 to 16 on bmobile and Digicel platforms as well as from international mobile numbers.

Track was written by Jason “Shaft” Bishop, Michael Hulsmeier, Scott Galt and Darryl Henry. It is one of the tracks on Backyard Jam Riddim produced by Barbados-based De Red Boyz.
