Pigeon Point Beach in Tobago.

Come January 31 beaches will be allowed to open from 5 am to 6 pm. This is according to the Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh during Wednesday’s press conference.

He said the four-hour extension in opening time comes after discussions between the Prime Minister and the Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary, Farley Augustine.

He warned people not to host after beach limes.

He said the extension will include swamp and reef tours, which can operate at 50 per cent capacity.
