A courier, who was shot and wounded during a robbery earlier this month, has died.
According to a police report, 28-year-old courier Dillion Singh, of LP 50 Evergreen, Carapo, was shot in the head and robbed of $18,076, some two weeks ago.
Since the robbery and shooting incident, Singh had been hospitalized at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex. Guardian Media understands he succumbed to his injuries at about 6:17 pm on Sunday.
Police said Singh was shot and robbed on April 9th while at the Roopnarine Service Station on Eastern Main Road, Tunapuna.
Homicide Region 2 was informed of Singh’s death and PC Norville of the Tunapuna CID is continuing enquiries.
