Parts of Malick and environs currently without a pipe-borne water supply can expect a resumption of service after 6 pm today, according to an advisory issued by the Water and Sewerage Authority.
The Authority explains that electrical problems at the Malick Booster Station are responsible for the service disruption. WASA reports that repair works currently ongoing at the facility are expected to be completed by 6:00 pm today, Wednesday 4th November 2020.
WASA also notes that a limited truck borne water supply will be available upon request.
Affected areas include:
● Lower and Upper 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue
● Councilman Gardens
● Schende Street Extension
● Hillview Drive
● Valley Drive
● Center Hill
Customers are reminded that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, following completion of repairs.
