A doctor was found dead in his car in Mayaro on Wednesday.
According to a police report, residents of Bon Espoire Road, Mayaro made a report of seeing a silver-coloured Honda City, registration PDY 3999, parked on the street since 5 pm on Tuesday.
When officers of the Emergency Response Patrol unit responded around 11 am yesterday, they found the vehicle parked in the same spot.
Inside was the lifeless body of a young man.
Police said he was identified as Amrit Ramdass of Orchard Gardens, Chaguanas.
The officers said several syringes and needles, labelled Potassium Choloride we’re found on the front passenger seat. Ramdass’ identification cards were also in the vehicle.
CSI officers visited the scene and Ramdass’ body was taken to the Sangre Grande mortuary for a post mortem.
Mayaro police are investigating.
