The compound of the Water and Sewerage Authority at Farm Road, St Joseph.

Parts of Glencoe, Westvale and Gulf View currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply can expect some relief by this afternoon, once emergency repair works are completed on the La Horquette Booster Station.

An advisory from the Water and Sewerage Authority notes the repairs are necessary because of mechanical problems impacting one of the pumps at the facility.

WASA estimates the repairs should be complete by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday September 9th.

However, a limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request.

Areas affected include:

Lower Glencoe, Gittensdale, Glencoe Estate, Westvale, The Park, Gulf View and all Streets off La Horquette Valley Road.

WASA customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of these works.

For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420 and 800-4426.
