A father held for questioning in connection with the murder of his one-year-old son, whose remains were found buried in a shallow grave, off Toco Main Road, died at hospital on Monday night.
Reports indicated that the man who was identified as Marlon Metivier was pronounced dead at ward six of the Sangre Grande Hospital around 10:10 pm on Monday.
The suspect was arrested in an abandoned house in Manzanilla last Wednesday afternoon when a party of police officers from Sangre Grande Police Station led by Senior Superintendent Aguilal and officers from CID and Task Force received a tip-off and went to the area.
