A 42-year-old fisherman was fatally shot shortly after he had an argument with a man near the Otaheite Bay in South Oropouche on Thursday.
The victim was identified as Devon Roberts also known as Tenor, of Dow Village, South Oropouche.
Police said around 11 am yesterday he was arguing with a suspect when the suspect’s friend went to Red Brick Trace and returned with a firearm. He gave it to the suspect who fired several shots at Roberts. They then ran off.
Roberts was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
At his home, a female relative refused to speak with the media.
