Cedros fishermen are fearful of reprisals from the Venezuelan Guardia Nacional following a shooting incident involving the T&T coast guard. The incident, which took place on Monday, claimed the life of a one-year-old baby and injured his mother, both of Venezuela. Cnc3 news learnt that over 50 fishing vessels from Icacos, Cedros and Fullarton remained anchored as fishermen received a chilling tip-off from sources at Tucupita.
