Four men were arrested for various offences during an anti-crime exercise in Princes Town yesterday. The men appeared before a Princes Town Magistrate today. The following is a press release from the TTPS:

In an exercise held in the Princes Town district on August 26th, four men were arrested and charged for various offences. VASH RAMPERSAD, 32, of St Julien Road, Princes Town, was charged for possession of four rounds of nine millimetre ammunition after a warrant was executed at his home.

The ammunition was allegedly found under a pillow in a bedroom of the home. STEPHEN FLEMMING, 52, of Manahambre Road, Princes town, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and TYRESE PARIS, 20, of Edward Street, Princes Town, and TEVIN JOSEPH, 49, of Jagville avenue, Princes Town, were charged for breach of the curfew.

The exercise was a joint effort coordinated by Southern Division Senior Superintendent Lucia Winchester, Supt Ramphal, ASP Doodhai, Acting ASP Ramdass, Inspector Phillip, and supervised by Inspector Victor and Sergeants Teeluck, Mohammed and Heeralal and included officers of the Princes Town CID, Southern Division Task Force, area east Crime Patrol, Canine unit and the Princes Town Municipal Police. All the accused men appeared virtually before a Princes Town Magistrate today, 27th August 2021.
