A man in his late 20s was stabbed multiple times by a male relative on Monday morning in La Horquetta. According to a police report, the incident occurred at about 8.30 am at the corner of Edwin Roberts and Krishna Persad, Phase 5. The victim has been identified as Marvin Joseph, 28. Police said the victim and one of his male relatives got into an argument which escalated into a fight, in which Joseph was stabbed more than 15 times in the upper body. He was taken to the Arima District Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. Police have since detained the suspect, 53, who was up to press time, assisting police in their investigations.
