The Trinidad & Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited (NP) has partnered with the dealers of the new NP Preysal Service Station to ensure financial support to the Preysal Secondary School.
The company’s move is part of its efforts to support the educational needs of schools within close proximity to its service stations network.
NP’s donation was matched by the Preysal Service Station dealers. A special presentation was held at the Service Station on November 2nd, 2021
According to an official communique from NP, the school’s Principal, Vasdev Roopnarine, was deeply appreciative of the two cheques he received. Each cheque was made out in the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000) and will go towards the purchase of laptops for the school.
“Not only is NP achieving its goal of providing modern new to industry Service Station sites, the Company is also making a meaningful contribution towards education in the Preysal community,” the company’s statement read.
On hand to make the presentation were John Gormandy, NP’s Chief Executive Officer (Ag.), and NP Preysal Dealers Premnath and Darren Dindial. The presentation also was attended by Allison Khan Ali, NP’s General Manager Retail & Industrial Fuels.
