After almost 48 hours of rainfall, Caroni residents experienced some of the worst flooding for this year. Water levels rose to almost three feet in some homes. They suspect a lack of infrastructural upgrades and illegal construction on the Caroni river bank is to blame for the flooding in Caroni village. Now the Chaguanas West MP is grateful for the assistance rendered to his constituents. But thinks more can be done to prevent these situations. Cameraman Neil Romain and Otto Carrington tell us more in this report.
