The “Pandemic Portraits” series here on CNC3 is a tribute to our citizens who have faced life-changing experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic. This series also connects with some of our Caribbean neighbours to understand more about how the pandemic is affecting people in the region. In this episode, we go to Barbados, where 22-year-old Andrew Rose became Barbados’ patient number 5, in the very early days of the viral spread last year. Andrew spent 65 long days and nights at Paragon, one of the government’s quarantine centres, until he finally was given the medical all-clear and discharged. Presented in collaboration with CNC3’s parent company ANSAMcAL here is Andrew, to share his very personal story.
