Undertakers remove one of the murder victims of the double murder at Windy Hill, Arouca, yesterday.

Four people were found murdered between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

According to reports around 11.45 pm on Saturday, gunshots rang out in Woodbine Terrace, Bournes Road, St James.

Police were contacted and when they got to the scene, they found the body of Jules “Sonny” Bruce of Upper Donald Hill, Long Circular, St James lying in a river in a track off Woodbine Terrace.

Bruce was dressed in a black long sleeve jersey, black three-quarter pants with black sneakers and he was wearing black gloves on both hands.

Police found 27 spent shells on the scene and suspect Bruce was shot further uphill in Woodbine and his killer or killers finished him off where his body was found.

On Sunday morning, police were called to a track off Windy Hill, Arouca, where the bodies of a man and a woman were found in a silver AD wagon, registration PDP 9808.

Police said the man’s body was found wrapped in a sheet in the trunk of the vehicle. Officers said both the man and woman were shot dead. Up to press time, the bodies were not identified.

And at around 4.30 pm Sunday, the body of a man was found down a precipice on the Lady Chancellor Hill. The man’s identity was not released.
