Ongoing protest action by port workers appears to be impacting the operations of the ferry service provided by the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT).
In its latest public advisory, the TTIT assures the travelling public that the Inter-island Ferries continue to operate, despite the port workers industrial action.
It provides amended sailing schedules on the sea-bridge for Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June 2020.
The key change is that the T&T Spirit will not sail to and from Tobago on Saturday 27th June 2020.
The TTIT advises that passengers with tickets for the 8.30 am sailing of the T&T Spirit from Port of Spain will be accommodated on the Jean de la Valette at 4.00 pm.
In addition, passengers with tickets for the 4.00 pm sailing of the T&T Spirit from Scarborough will be accommodated on the Jean de la Valette at 8.30 am.
