The Water and Sewerage Authority says the current repairs being made to the Mendez Booster Station should be complete by 9:00 pm tomorrow, Tuesday 8th December 2020.
In an advisory issued today, WASA explains that mechanical problems are affecting the facility and repair works are ongoing.
As such, WASA says relief is in sight for those customers served by the Mendez Booster Station who recently have been experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne water supply.
The company also advises that a limited truck borne service will be available to affected customers upon request.
In addition, customers are reminded that it may take up to 24 hours for the pipe borne water supply to normalize to some areas after the facility returns to operation.
Affected areas include:
● Upper Mendez Drive
● Daniel Drive
● Mountain View Terrace
● Quarry Drive
● Hilltop Drive and environs
