Customers in the Point Fortin area will experience an interruption in their water supply on Wednesday 16th March between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. due to a leaking 20-inch diameter transmission pipeline at Richardson Street, Point Fortin. Details follow in this press release from WASA:

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in the Point Fortin area that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Wednesday 16th March 2022, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

This has become necessary in order to facilitate repairs to a leaking 20-inch diameter transmission pipeline at Richardson Street, Point Fortin.

Areas to be affected include:

  • Point Fortin
  • Vance Rive
  • Cochrane
  • South Central Road
  • New Village
  • Cap-de-Ville

The Authority advises that it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize following the completion of these works.
