The Supermarket Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT) has advised that its members will remain closed on the two public holidays, Monday and Thursday this week, with curfew hours starting at 10 am.

SATT issued a statement on its decision earlier today.

“We wish to advise the public that all members of The Supermarket Association of Trinidad and Tobago will be CLOSED this Monday, May 31st (Indian Arrival Day) and Thursday, June 3rd (Corpus Christi) to give our employees time for Rest, Relaxation and Reflection.”

Under the regulations, supermarkets would be allowed to open from 5 am to 10 am.
