The South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) takes note of a republication of a Letter to the Editor, entitled “Suffering, death at Sando Hospital” on Sunday May 24, 2020 in the Sunday Newsday newspaper.

The letter was first published in the said newspapers on July 21, 2019.

Following the first publication of the article on July 21, 2019, the Authority immediately undertook a thorough internal investigation, which included a full disclosure to the relatives of the deceased patient.
