Two teenagers are expected to appear before a Port-of-Spain Magistrate today, after they were held following a robbery.
The accused, ages 16 and 17 years, are from Malick and Santa Cruz, respectively.
They were detained at about 3pm on Saturday July 10th, in Aranguez.
A police report stated that officers were in a marked police vehicle driving in the vicinity of the Aranguez Savannah, when they were flagged down by a man on the roadway.
The man told the officers that he had just been robbed and pointed at two suspects who were still in the process of fleeing the scene.
The officers responded and gave chase.
The teenagers were held a short distance away and the stolen item was retrieved.
