Three suspects were arrested a day after they kidnapped a man and robbed him.
According to a police report, at about 4:30 pm on Tuesday, the victim boarded a silver Nissan, PDT 8420, with three male occupants of African descent, which was plying for hire and asked to be taken to the Croisee in San Juan.

On reaching Savannah Drive, Aranguez, the driver turned into Johnny King Road and locked all doors and windows. The victim became afraid for his life and asked to be put out, but the driver kept driving. The male passenger seated at the back with the victim placed an object to his leg, announced a robbery, and took his cellphone and cash.
The victim was then let out lower Johnny King Road, and the suspects drove off.

On Wednesday, the victim made a report to PC Patrick who accessed the victim’s Google account and tracked the cellphone to the corner of Petit Curacaye and Santa Cruz Old Road. There the vehicle mentioned in the report was seen with three men fitting the description of the suspects. The car was searched, and the victim’s cellphone was recovered. The suspects were detained and taken to the San Juan Police Station, where the victim identified them.
