The Ministry of Health has recorded three additional COVID deaths bringing today’s total to 4. Thirty-five additional persons have also tested positive for the disease. The overall active cases now stand at 1900.

As of the afternoon of Thursday, 10th September, 2020 the Ministry reports the following:

The Ministry of Health provides the following update:
The Ministry of Health regrets to inform the public that there are three additional COVID-19 related deaths. The persons are an elderly male with co-morbidities, an adult male with co-morbidities and another adult male. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 43.
· Thirty-five (35) additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19.
It should be noted that, of the thirty-five (35) COVID-19 positive cases reported, three (3) of these refer to persons who were housed at the Police Training Academy and have not been in circulation within the national community. These individuals will be transferred to a public health facility for relevant medical care. All established protocols have been implemented.
The thirty-five (35) positive cases reported above show results from samples taken during the period August 29th to September 9th, 2020. Therefore, this figure is NOT representative of the positive cases over the last 24 hours only.
