The Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development is reporting an additional two new COVID-19 cases on the sister isle.
In a release on Friday, August 14 the division said one new case is a primary contact of a positive case while the other is awaiting epidemiological investigation.

The Division hereby notifies the public that two (2) additional cases tested positive for COVID-19 in Tobago. One is a contact of a recently positive COVID-19 case and the other is pending epidemiological investigation. All established protocols have since been implemented, inclusive of contact tracing, which is ongoing. Consequently, there are currently eight (8) active COVID-19 cases in Tobago.
The total positive cases of COVID-19 recorded in Tobago now stand at twelve (12).
