More than 50 participants of the Women’s Programme in the Tobago Unemployment Relief Programme (URP) had the opportunity to learn more about their breast and bra health from Ora Gordon, Bra and Breast Health Educator and Entrepreneur, in a workshop held on Wednesday 16 March 2022.

A release from the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment, under which the Tobago URP falls, notes that the special workshop was part of the Tobago URP’s Women’s Health Wednesday activity. Ora Gordon was the Tobago URP’s WCW, a woman thriving in the business of women’s health.

“The Management of the Unemployment Relief Programme (URP) is paying close attention to empowering women to take better care of their health. In today’s world, maintaining a healthy lifestyle may take a backseat to the chaos of a woman’s daily life,” the Division’s release said.

“Participants of the Women’s Programme, URP Tobago, learnt to be unapologetic in prioritising personal care,” the Division added.

During the workshop, Ora Gordon shared information on choosing appropriate female support garments for daily, pregnancy, postpartum and post-surgery use.

The Division notes that the forum also was geared at motivating the women to become entrepreneurs.
