As the debate rages on for public and private sector employees to get vaccinated in order to operate – several factions of the trade union movement are scheduled to hold discussions with business leaders later today.
The 4 pm meeting is scheduled to take place at the Cipriani Labour College, Valsayn.
One trade union leader confirmed the meeting will include four-member delegations from the various business chambers; the energy chamber; the manufacturing sector; and others.
He said chief among the discussions will be the “perceived” move by some employers to force workers to become vaccinated in order to return to the workplace.
