A new fast ferry is scheduled to be added to the existing Trinidad and Tobago fleet in a few months’ time.
According to an official statement from NIDCO—the National Infrastructure Development Company Limited—the A.P.T. James will be launched on Friday 22nd May 2020, at the Port of Vung Tau, Vietnam.
NIDCO reports that at that time, commissioning works will be undertaken, which are expected to be complete by the end of July 2020, subject to the current limitations of COVID-19 restrictions.
NIDCO says an update on the vessel’s delivery date to Port of Spain, Trinidad, will be released subsequently.
