Two men were arrested and charged during anti-crime exercises yesterday. In the first incident, a search was conducted at a home in Richard Trace, Tumpuna Road, where five rounds of nine-millimetre ammunition and 67 grams of marijuana were found. Daniel Clement, 20, was arrested and charged.

In another exercise, a search was conducted at Simone Avenue, Cocorite Road, and 33- year old Auguste Keeron was arrested on outstanding warrants. Both men are expected to appear virtually at the Tunapuna Magistrates’ court today to answer to the charges.

The exercise was coordinated by ASP Coggins and Insp. Pitt and supervised by Sgt. Pamphille and Cpl Bedase and included members of the Northern Division Intelligence Unit and the K9 Unit.
