Two Venezuelans were arrested by officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force during an anti-crime exercise for entering this country illegally.
According to police reports, based on information received, the officers proceeded to house at Branch Road, Aranguez, where they found two individuals, ages 19 and 28, both Venezuelans. They did not have any legal documentation to stay in the country.
The exercise was spearheaded by Snr Supt Winston Maharaj, W/Ag/Supt Maynard–Wilson, Ag Supt. Alexander, Ag ASP Pariman, and coordinated by Sgt Bharat, and supervised by Ag/Cpl Majeed, and included officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force. They have been handed over to Immigration officials to determine their immigration status.
