The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) has taken definitive steps to ensure that all of its face-to-face and blended programmes move seamlessly to a fully online mode of delivery during this period of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

In a release, officials advised that “With the closure of all schools and higher learning institutions locally, UTT has embraced the opportunity to implement differentiated assessment strategies to facilitate student success during this semester and beyond.”

They said at present, UTT students are able to engage in discussion forums, simulations, and a range of continuous assessment activities to suit their learning profiles.

All of this is facilitated through the University’s Learning Management System.

Meanwhile, UTT has also put measures in place to support non-academic staff who are required to work remotely during this time.
