The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising its customers that service has been restored to all their affected Water Treatment Plants. Details follow in this press release.
The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers that as at 9:00 a.m. today – Monday 6th September 2021, all of its Water Treatment Plants (WTP) throughout Trinidad and Tobago that were impacted by power failure and turbid river conditions, due to recent adverse weather, have returned to service.
Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some areas, in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.
