The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) is advising customers served by the Trinity Water Treatment Plant, Moruga that emergency maintenance work is underway due to electrical problems at the plant. It is expected to be completed today, Wednesday 8th December 2021. Details follow in this press release from WASA: 

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Trinity Water Treatment Plant, Moruga who are currently without a supply that this is due to electrical problems.  

Emergency repairs are currently underway and are expected to be completed today, Wednesday 8th December 2021.  

Areas affected are: 

  • Marac  
  • Cachippe  
  • La Ruffin  
  • Gran Chemin  
  • La Lune  

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to be restored to some affected areas following the completion of repairs.
